Transformative Impact
Transformative Impact is an exhibition that showcases the powerful ways in which four contemporary Bronx artists engage with their communities through socially and environmentally conscious art making. Confronting urgent issues, such as environmental migration, gender equality, and systemic injustice, these artists transform creative practice into a catalyst for awareness, dialogue, and meaningful change.

Core Dance 1830EST: Artists Talk offers an online forum to explore art-making practices through the lens of working artists and their creativity. Each episode assembles multiple viewpoints and includes interviews, field recordings, soundscapes and stories representing the diverse creative practitioners within the Core Dance global landscape.
1830EST: Artists Talk was initiated in 2021 to cultivate community in response to the pandemic, when live experiences were not possible. The ongoing pandemic disrupted the rhythms of everyday life, prompting us to reconfigure how we connect, communicate, and work together.
The 1830EST: Artists Talk Livestream will always be found here.

How can art move us from reflection to action in the face of the climate crisis?
From Vision to Action: Artists at the Forefront of Climate Conversations brings together Bronx-based artists Maya Ciarrocchi and Natalie Collette Wood for a dynamic and intimate salon exploring how creative practice inspires climate resilience, cultural memory, and community transformation.
This conversation is presented in partnership with the Bronx Council on the Arts and is part of the 2025 Creative Climate Awards: Inspiring Futures, an initiative of the Human Impacts Institute.
Set at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO), the event invites attendees to reflect on the connections between art, environmental justice, and the future we can co-create together.
